Monumental Valencia

Valencia, a city that combines a rich historical past and monumental with its projection into the future. A perfect venue for international events (America’s Cup 2008 World Athletics 2008 and Formula 1). We find in it the Valencia Gothic, Baroque, modernistra, in contrast to an overview presented by Valencia in the third millennium with the most advanced leftovers (Palau de la Musica, City of Arts and Sciences, etc.).. We can also taste the typical food, Paella Valenciana, in any typical restaurant with terrace.

Among the most important monuments is the Lonja de la Seda. Next to the Central Market is located and the Church of the Saint Johns. Other buildings and emblematic monuments are the Colón Market or North Station. In the Plaza de la Virgen is the Palace of the Generalitat Valenciana, the Basilica of the Virgin of the Helpless and the Valencia Cathedral, whose bell tower is known as the «Tower of Micalet.»

Valencia retains just the wall that surrounded the late nineteenth century until its old town. It left standing the Torres de Quart and Torres de Serrano.
Cononcida Valencia as the city of Flowers, has many parks and green areas, such as the Botanical Gardens, Park West, Royal Gardens and the Jardin del Turia.
